AMCHAM Awards 2024 – Celebrating friendship and embracing freedom

The 9th edition of the AmCham Tributes Gala will be held tomorrow (25 June) at the Pestana Palace Hotel.

The event will be presided over by the Minister of the Presidency, Dr. António Leitão Amaro and the Ambassador of the United States in Portugal, Mrs Randi Levine. The event will also have the presence of the President of AICEP, Professor Ricardo Arroja.

The annual AmCham Tributes recognise companies, institutions and personalities that have most stood out for their contribution to economic and trading relations and understanding between Portugal and the United States.

Four winning companies will be announced on the night while the Personality of the Year award will go to Isabel Capeloa Gil (Rector/President at Universidade Católica Portuguesa) and surfer Garrett McNamara who will be present to receive their awards.

This year’s theme will be ‘Celebrating Friendship and Embracing Freedom’ and the gala dinner will include AmCham’s partners among the guests including CAISL – Carlucci American International School of Lisbon and MTL – Music Theater Lisbon. The event has been supported by
Deloitte, FLAD – Fundação Luso-Americana para o Desenvolvimento (The Luso-American Foundation for Development), Aon, Microsoft, and Prosegur.
