Port of Lisbon processes 60,922 passengers in July

The Port of Lisbon received 33 cruise ships and 60,922 passengers in June, a growth of 32% and 13% respectively.

“The number of cruise calls in the Port of Lisbon grew by 32%, from 25 calls in June 2023 to 33 in June 2024, with an increase of eight calls”, details the Port of Lisbon Administration (APL) in a statement.
The number of passengers grew by 13%, “with a total of 60,922 passengers in June 2024 compared to 53,852 in the same month of 2023, that is, an increase of 7,070 passengers,” it adds.

The same note states that “the data for June and the first half of 2024 show a positive trend in cruise activity in the Port of Lisbon, highlighting a particularly strong month of June and a global trend in the consolidation of activity throughout the semester. The cumulative number of calls grew by 1%, with a total of 154 calls in the first half of 2024 compared to 153 calling in the same period of 2023″.
