US unicorn Iterable sets up at Unicorn Factory Lisboa

Iterable, a multi-channel marketing company using AI technology has opened an office at Unicorn Factory Lisboa with plans to hire over 100 people over the next few years.

Based in San Francisco, the technology unicorn chose Lisbon for the expansion of its business and as launching pad into the European market.

Iterable has started off in Lisbon with a tight team of just eight people, including it’s Vice President of Engineering, Peter Oh who moved to Lisbon to start the expansion project.

The company also plans to appoint a Portugal Country Manager.

The US technology company has a platform that uses Artificial Intelligence (AI) to enhance client communication and for data processing, enabling brands like Redfin, Priceline, Calm and Box offer dynamic and personalised multi-channel communication experiences.

At the start of 2024, Iterable posted over €200 million in annual reccurent revenues. The company has a global community of clients with more than 1,200 brands in 50 countries and employs around 700 people.

Andrew Boni, CEO and co-founder of Iterable, points out that “Iterable and Lisbon share a fast and exciting growth path.
