Enerfip to launch in Portugal
The French crowdfunding platform Enerfip, which specialises in energy transition, is to launch in Portugal.
With a licence to operate in the Euro Zone, it was already possible for Portuguese retail investors to allocate savings in projects via the French crowdfunder, but to date only 20 have done so. However, the French company expects that figure to rise to 500 over the coming year.
The investment platform hopes to raise €5 million with a minimum investment of €10 and a return of 8.5%.
The company is also looking at over 20 projects of which it hopes to finance at least two in 2025.
The company’s debut in the Portuguese market is marked by a group of six projects, with a total peak capacity of 22.5 megawatts.
They are developed by the Spanish Langur Holding Corporation, which has a subsidiary in Portugal, Langur Portugal, in partnership with the Luxembourg investment fund Green Power.
The projects are already in a “ready to build” phase, and the construction will vary between 32 and 48 weeks, depending on the size of each one. They will all advance in parallel, in order to extend the implementation period up to a maximum of 18 months. The projects will be ready for operation in early 2026.
