RE/MAX closes 2024 with transactions worth €7.2Bn

RE/Max, the largest estate agency chain in Portugal, closed 2024 with a volume of revenues from transactions of around €7.12Bn, an increase of 24.5% on 2023.

It means that the estate agency enjoyed its best year ever (2.7% over its previous record in 2022).

The company also ends this period with a 12.8% increase in transaction volume. December was the featured month, the best of the year in the history of RE/MAX. The Portuguese are still the ones who are buying or renting houses the most, having accounted for 77.5% of RE/MAX transactions last year.

With regard to foreign client investment, in 2024 RE/MAX professionals dealt with 108 foreign nationalities. In evidence were the Brazilians, who most buy and sell real estate with the network, already representing 7.1% of the total volume of transactions. Also noteworthy are Angolans (1.7%), US clients (1.4%), the English (1%) and the French (0.9%), clients who close the top 5 of foreign nationalities that used RE/MAX to buy or sell properties in 2024.
