Seresco Group acquires 75% share in F5IT for €2.5 million

The Spanish-based Seresco group has acquired a 75% share in the Portuguese technology company F5IT that specialises in the analysis, development, customisation and implementation of the company management solution X3.

In a statement, the multinational group based in Spain clarifies that the deal was made in exchange for €2.5 million. Focused on technological solutions and digital transformation, Seresco seeks to strengthen its position in the Portuguese market, while being a reference partner for Sage solutions on the Iberian Peninsula.

The deal comes after a year in 2024 in which the group’s turnover reached €4 million in the Portuguese market, where it has been present since 2015. At the same time, earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation, and amortization (EBITDA) reached €600,000.

On a global scale, the Seresco Group is present not only in Portugal and Spain, but also in Costa Rica, Colombia and Peru. In total operations, revenues increased 27.2% year-on-year to €53.6 million. Adjusted EBITDA increased by 76% to €8.7 million.

F5IT currently has a team of 36 professionals and works with more than 120 clients, having closed the year 2024 with a turnover of €2.9 million. The group that becomes the majority shareholder of the consultant, in turn, employs 1,200 professionals and has a portfolio of more than 3,500 clients in the areas of personnel and salary management, digital transformation for SMEs, registration and cartography, infrastructure and information security, software development, and farming and fisheries innovation.
