Lusíadas Saúde invests €60 million in new private hospital in Faro
Lusíadas Saúde has announced that it will start work on the new Lusíadas Faro Hospital, a €60 million investment intended to strengthen the supply of private healthcare in the region.
With its opening scheduled for the end of 2027, the new unit will be the largest and most technologically advanced private hospital in the Algarve, representing a response to the growing demand for differentiated healthcare services from residents, workers, and visitors.
The new hospital will be developed according to the principles of Medicine 3.0, a model that prioritises a more preventive, personalised, and person-centered approach.
The focus is on placing health and well-being at the centre of care, promoting prevention, early disease detection, and continuous monitoring of patients throughout their lives. Supported by specialised teams and state-of-the-art technology, this vision will allow the Lusíadas Saúde network in the Algarve to fully serve a population exceeding half a million people in the region.
