The Spanish group Concentra has bought 100% of the Óbidos-based insurance agency Obimedia – Sociedade Mediadora de Seguros.

Grupo Concentra, specialising in insurance and reinsurance brokerage in Spain and Portugal, has announced the integration of Obimedia – Sociedade Mediadora de Seguros, an insurance agent based in Óbidos, in the Leiria district.

This transaction is part of the group’s growth strategy in the Portuguese market and expands its territorial presence to the country’s western region, the Spanish group stated.

In this transaction, the Concentra group acquired 100% of Obimedia’s capital; the company generated a business volume of €700,000 in 2025, with a premium portfolio of €6 million.

However, current managing partners José Luis Oliveira, Raúl Rodrigues, and Telmo Murtinheira will remain with the company.

Founded in 1981, Obimedia is a multi-brand company primarily focused on the non-life insurance sector, with a significant presence in the workers’ compensation and multi-risk lines. It maintains a strong regional presence among both corporate and individual clients.
