New GD at Coca-Cola in Portugal

Sandra Leal Vera-Cruz has been appointed the general director of Coca-Cola Portugal.

Although unofficially in the post since January, she had quit her previous post as business development director at TMD for Europe which she had occupied since January 2016 in the same company.
It is the first time that Coca Cola Portugal has appointed a Portuguese national to head the company in Portugal.
Sandra Leal Vera Cruz will be responsible for driving the company’s strategic vision in Portugal with the aim of maximising business opportunities.
“It is a great challenge which I expect to rise to and give of my best with the support of all out teams in Portugal,” she said.
“We will work to grow our brands, conquer greater relevance, meet sector challenges and speed up the use of technology for innovation always retaining the consumer at the heart of our strategy,” she added.
Sandra Leal Vera Cruz joined Coca-Cola in 2007 as business decision support manager and since 2016 had been the business development director at TMD for Europe.
Before working for Coca-Cola, Sandra Leal Vera-Cruz had worked for Proctor & Gamble Portugal where she occupied several posts in different areas from finance and management to client project management, shopping marketing and consumer insights.
