The Lisbon Luxury Summit which brings together professionals from various segments in the luxury retail market opens on Thursday at the city’s Hotel Altis Belém.

 

The 2nd morning panel is dedicated to Portuguese luxury tourism, resorts and property companies and brands with presentations from Filipe Lourenço (Private Luxury Real Estate), Gilberto Jordan (André Jordan Group), Rui Sanches (Multifood S.A) and José Tiago Silva (Explorer Investments). 

The luxury segment is undergoing a period of profound transformation in a market that is increasingly digital and connected with luxury brands facing a huge challenge and opportunity: digital innovation. 

The digital era has given brands a fresh opportunity to think about the ways luxury can be experienced: physical shops, where customers can touch products and come into contact with the brand are now being complemented by digital platforms where the experience needs to be unforgettable too. 

Omni-channel is the new buzzword in retail and a huge challenge for luxury. In luxury marketing social networks have changed the traditional paradigm through data analysis technology, CRM systems being a powerful tool for brands to be able to communicate with their customers in a more personalised way.
