Latest phase of Lisbon’s Prata Living real estate project begins

The latest phase of Living Prata Concept, the largest property development project in Lisbon, at Marvila, has been officially launched this week.

With 32 further properties for sale, the project from Renzo Piano has been called a success.

The Portuguese property consultant Consultan is commercialising the latest phase of the project which as typologies ranging from T2 to T5+Duplex. 

“With the first phase almost completely sold and delivered and which at the inception of the project was dubbed “a project of the future” 

“Apart from the completion of the first phase, the work by public entities in the revitalisation of the river front immediately in front of the development and which are at an advanced development phase which will lend enormous charm to the project” says Fernando Goldman, director of Consultan.

According to Consultan the residential development has attracted a lot of demand from an overseas public, who value the river front and the ample spaces afforded by the project by architect Renzo Piano who also designed the iconic George Pompidou Centre in Paris.

This development is right on the River Tagus in the parish of Marvila, next to Parque das Nações and has a total of 499 homes on a 244,000m2 construction area.

NORFIN and Lisfundo –  developer and management fund are behind the project while two banks, CGD and Novo Banco are the main financiers who invited NORFIN to oversee the project at the end of 2013.

The latest phase entails the construction of 12 plots and a small commercial lot.
