Vanguard Properties invests €30 million euros in Amoreiras residential tower development

“A’ Tower” will feature 34 apartments over 15 floors

Vanguard Properties is to invest around €30 million in redeveloping “A’Tower” — a residential tower in Amoreiras.

Refurbishment work on “A´Tower” will begin in January 2019 and should be completed by July 2020. Commercialisation will begin from this month. There will be 34 apartments, indoor and outdoor pools (16th floor), parking, SPA and a gym, as well as spacious and well-decorated common areas and even a concierge service.

The building will have 15 floors above ground, 3 underground parking levels and typologies varying between T1 (one-bed) and T5 (five-bed).

All residents will have the use of an outdoor roof pool (16th floor) an indoor pool, SPA, gym, parking and concierge.

The project is a reconversion of an office building into a housing development designed by the atelier Saraiva + Associates and which is defined by its contemporary architecture and top-quality materials which lend it a modern and cosy atmosphere and feature sophisticated finishes, dynamic lines and terraces offering sweeping views over Monsanto Park and the city centre.

The building is on Avenida Conselheiro Fernando Sousa 11 and is close to Amoreiras Shopping Center and the Liceu Francês and less than1 km from Marquês de Pombal. At an urban level, the development is within a traditional shopping and services area with a strong residential component.

The building will occupy an area of around 500 m2. An artists competition will be launched shortly where renowned artists will be invited to tender their projects. The winning art piece that will decorate “A´Tower” will be chosen by a jury made up of recognised specialists in contemporary art (Miguel Saraiva, António Cachola, Miguel Coutinho, José Maria Ferreira, João Raimundo, Delfim Sardo and Guta Moura Guedes). The aim of the competition is to create a permanent art installation feature for “A Tower” that will enhance the surrounding area in which the building will feature.

Vanguard Properties, aware of the relevance and importance of urban art, aims to promote it, adding value to the urban space and Lisbon by employing the use of art on its property developments thereby contributing to the aesthetic appearance of public space.
