Celebrity chefs shine at Algarve Fine Wines & Food Fair
A galaxy of culinary stars have been signed up for the Fine Wines & Food Fair which runs at the Vila Vita Parc Resort & Spa between 5-13 May.
The nine-day gourmet foodie fest will be crowned by a lively Kitchen Party with top chefs and winemakers preparing top tucker for 500 people.
The A-List lineup of international Michelin chefs from Germany, Austria, the UK, Netherlands, Belgium, Spain and Portugal and the US.
Portuguese star chefs include: Dieter Koschina** from Vila Joya, Algarve; Delfo Schiaffino* from Gusto by Heinz Beck, Conrad Algarve; João Oliveira* from Vista Restaurant, Algarve; Pedro Almeida* from Restaurant Midori, Sintra and Chakall from El Bulo, Lisbon.
Nigel Haworth* from Northcote in Lancashire is the only representative chef from the United Kingdom while Spain is represented by Oscar Velasco** from Restaurant Santceloni, Madrid and Álvaro Garrido* from Restaurant Mina.

The Vila Vita Fine Wines & Food Fair takes place every two years at the luxury resort in a clifftop setting on the Algarve coast. The nine-day event will include a programme of inspiring gastronomic experiences with a series of exclusive themed dinners with Vila Vita Parc’s own chef Hans Neuner from the Ocean restaurant cooking alongside the top international chefs, winemakers and gourmet producers.
The highlight of the event will undoubtedly be the Kitchen Party on Saturday 11 May in the Vila Vita Clubhouse featuring the guest chefs and winemakers working together to create culinary magic for over 500 guests at a price tag of €295 per adult.
