Three Portuguese startups praised at Digital Health Forum

Three Portuguese startups have been distinguished at the first Digital Health Forum which took place at the University of Porto.

The international event, co-organised by Tech Tour and Santander Universidades singles out startups with promising business ideas in the medical technology and digital health areas.
“What impressed me was the quality of the technology startups that we have in Portugal which have the ambition to compete in the Digital Health market which has a huge potential” said Marcos Soares Ribeiro of Santander Universidades on Thursday at the end of the Forum.
“Portugal was the country from out of all of the countries whose startups were shortlisted, that had the most startups in the digital health area, after Ireland and Finland, both with startups considered the best in terms of ideas” he added.
The three winning Portuguese startups were: Nutrium, Tonic App and ShopAI.
