Essentia, a consulting company in the real estate niche of Urban Rehabilitation has been awarded SME Leader 2018.

The award is made annually to those companies who stand out for their financial solidity, quality of performance and risk profile.
The consultancy that also specialises in the Hotel and Sustainable Tourism sectors and Culture and Leisure Territorial Networks last year organised the #1st Essential tourism, brands and property conference last October which focused on the two main drivers of the Portuguese economy — tourism and real estate at which Essential Business was a key media partner.
The SME Leader awards are promoted by IAPMEI (Portuguese Association for Small and Medium Companies) to distinguish national SMEs with superior performance and are attributed in partnership with the Portuguese tourist board Turismo de Portugal and several banks which evaluate the companies on ratings and economic and financial indicators.
The award status brings with it a number of benefits such as better terms and conditions for financial products.
José Gil Duarte, CEO of Essentia, said, “We feel a great sense of pride and responsibility in receiving this award. We are a 100% Made-in-Portugal company with a team of excellent and multidiscipline professionals in a company where valuing difference is a irrefutable value.
“Our values are solidly rooted in understanding our history and heritage, blending it with the present and projecting it in the future”, he said.
