Applications open for SIL Awards 2019

Submissions of applications for this year’s best property project awards organised by Salão Imobiliário de Portugal (SIL) are now open!

Each year, Portugal’s most important property fair holds the event which rewards the best real estate development projects in various categories with the awards ceremony taking place during the fair which this runs from 10-13 October in Lisbon.
The categories are: Sustainable Construction and Energy Efficiency; Best Real Estate Project: a) Commerce, Services and Logistics b) Housing c) Tourism. Urban Rehabilitation: a) Housing b) Tourism c) Public Spaces d) Offices e) Commercial and Services.
Submissions must be handed in by 13 September. www.imobiliario.fil.pt
The entity that manages and promotes the competition is the Portuguese Industrial Association Foundation (Fundação AIP) together with the Lisbon – Fairs, Congresses and Events and the Business Enterprise Association (Associação Empresarial).
Last year, the SIL Awards 2018 took place on 3 October in which projects and developments in 11 categories and five distinctions were made.
The winners were: Belas Clube de Campo/Lisbon Green Valley; Mar Shopping Algarve, the Egyptian Embassy building, Praia do Sal (Lisbon), WineBarrels – Quinta da Pacheca, Ouro Grand (Lisbon Baixa), Torre de Palma Wine Hotel, Campo das Cebolas, Headquarters of Vieira de Almeida Advogados, Hospital da Luz Vila Real, Uniplaces – Landlord-Tennant Online Platform.
