A 100% Portuguese perfume manufacturer in Braga is finding international success in its artisan scents.

Yntenzo is now producing around 20,000 non-synthetic perfumes a day that boast a price tag of between €40 and €158.
Opened in 2016, the company’s buyers include Brazilians, French, Spanish and Americans as well as Portuguese.
The company has achieved a business turnover of €1.5 million with the expectation of growth next year from new international contracts.
According to the company’s founder Daniel Vilaça, Yntenzo’s focus is based on “Portugality” with its latest scent Agarwood & Amber which will be launched at the end of this month and inspired by the Discoveries.
With a limited edition of 500 and a price tag of €158, the packaging is hand painted with a compass rose and depicts a timeline of the Discoveries of the age. “We also want to sell a brand that is packed with history to tell”, adds Vilaça.
All of the perfumes are packaged in recyclable paper and the cartons are hand-painted, inspired by Portuguese azulejo tiles and Portuguese typical white and black cobble stones “calçada Portuguesa,” says Vilaça.
