Knokcare nets €4.4M from Nos 5G and Triple Point
The Portuguese health care startup Knokcare has just closed a €4.4 million investment round, co-led by the fund Nos 5G and Triple Point.
The financing will allow the startup to press ahead with new generation mobile network technology and bolster its presence in external markets.
With an initial capital input of €10 million and an investment period of five years, the 5G Fund was the first in Portugal directed towards new mobile technology. Knokcare is the second Portuguese startup to receive investment from this fund after Reckon.ai.
José Bastos, CEO and cofounder of Knokcare, says that the startup has “entered a new development phase after the closure of this investment round”.
“The group of excellent investors that we have brought together will contribute to accelerate the next phase of our national and international expansion plan for our integrated health solution.
“The startup will strengthen its presence in Spain, Brazil and other countries in Latin America, India, the UK and Italy,” he adds.
