Portugal Boat Show opens today

Nauticampo – the Portugal Boat Show – was opened today in Lisbon by the Minster of Sea, Ricardo Serrão Santos.

The event, which runs until 20 February at Lisbon’s trade and exhibition fair venue FIL at Parque das Nações, showcases the best and latest innovations and products in the leisure boating and yachting sector, including water-based adventure sports, caravanning and equipment for spas and swimming pools.
The show is open daily from 2pm-8pm weekdays, and on Saturday from 10am-10pm, and Sunday 10am to 8pm. it will feature 100 water recreation sector companies.
With this year’s theme ‘The Road to Adventure’ the emphasis is on the growing demand for a healthier lifestyle, with a vast range of companies offering open air activities and associated products, represented at the show.
This offer ranges from boats, water sports accessories, camping products, including tents and caravans, to an integrated offer for companies operating in water sports recreation destinations and resorts, including equipment and amenities for spas and swimming pools.
Regarding the programme of events, this afternoon the series of ‘Nauticampo Talks’ kicks off from 2.45pm (2.45pm-5.30pm) with the topic ‘Design and Innovation in Water Sports Recreation’, followed by ‘Project Grow More’ from 5.30pm-6.30pm — a project aimed at personal development and training for young people — particularly those at risk — in marine-based leisure professions and sports.
The launch of the Vilamoura International Boat Show will also take place today in the Lounge Pavilion Auditorium at 5.30pm. The Vilamoura Boat Show, which is organised by Vilamoura Marina and the AIP Foundation, will run from 11 June to 19 June at Vilamoura Marina.
