Vodafone Portugal revenues up 7%

Total revenues for telecommunications company Vodafone Portugal rose 7% for the tax year 2021-2022 like-for-like to €1.160Bn while services grew 7.2% to €1.061Bn.

In a communiqué, the telecoms operator led by Mário Vaz said that the company had “maintained its growth trajectory for 2021-2022”, and at the end March service revenues reached €1.061Bn, “representing a growth of 7.2% when compared to the same period last year”.
Between April 1, 2021, and March 31, 2022, total revenues grew 7% like-for-like to €1.160Bn.”
“Vodafone Portugal’s performance “reflects its consistent strategy for investment and diversification of the business in a sector that is increasingly more competitive and challenging” and “these results were sustained by the continuous growth of fixed business and an improvement in the mobile segment, although the cyberattack had affected performance in the fourth quarter”, adds the company.
Its fixed service client base rose to 878,000 at the end of March, up 7.8% in like-for-like terms, of which 808,000 are TV customers (+7.9%).
Regarding its FTTH network,”Vodafone has been pursuing its strategy to expand its presence all over the country in the coming years” so, “its latest generation of fibre-to-the-home technology will be available for 4.1 million homes and companies”, (+10.1% like-for-like) states the company.
