Weezie leaps into US market

Weezie, a startup from Porto which specialises in Fibre Optic Network Management Solutions, is set to be Portugal’s latest ‘gazelle’ company preparing to leap into the US market.

Weezie has doubled its sales in 2022 and aims to continue greater growth by 2024.
“We’re aiming to continue doubling our business in the coming years”, says João Sousa Guedes, CEO of Weezie in an interview with the business daily Negócios.
If all goes to plan, the Porto startup which had already doubled its turnover in 2022 to €2 million, will achieve €4 million this year, €12-€14 million in 2025.
Weezie will attend Connected Britain 2022 at Stand 8 on September 20-21 to showcase its latest developments. The conference will be held at the Business Design Centre, London.
Weezie will release its latest developments and how is shaping the way ISPs all over the world are digitalising the deployment and management of their fibre-optic networks at the fair.
Weezie offers a cloud-native solution focused on the automation and digitalisation of the processes of deployment and management of fibre optic network that integrates into a single digital ecosystem in planning, execution, control, and management of projects. This allows its clients not only a 60% reduction in the time before the deployment phase when compared to the traditional format, but also a 90% reduction in non-conformities between the project and the deployment phase.
