Arrow Global to invest €500M+ in Vilamoura

Arrow Global, an international asset management and real estate investment company is to invest over €500 million in the Algarve’s chic Vilamoura resort.

The company that owns Vilamoura World has announced that it has plans to consolidate the property that has many of the key assets in the holiday and golf destination according to Vida Imobiliária.
The aim is to fast-track and coordinate its development. Arrow has already invested €400 million and the group now plans to plough in another €500 million taking the total investment to nearly €1Bn.
The future expansion plans for the luxury resort include an expansion of its world-class marina and the development of plots of land covering 500,000m2 that it has in its portfolio.
These will be used to develop residential areas of various typologies, sizes and prices, offering visitors, holidaymakers and investors to acquire their own property in the town that was founded by the Romans.
Vilamoura is the biggest tourist complex in Europe. It has a Marina, a Golf Academy, 6 Golf Courses, a casino, several Clubs, a tennis club, a diving club, other leisure facilities, a big beach and several 4 and 5 stars hotels.
Pedro Reimão, CEO of Vilamoura World called the project the “relaunch of a new vision for Vilamoura” that would make the town “even more extraordinary”, attracting visitors from all over the world.
João Bugalho, CEO of Arrow Global Portugal said that the plan is to “consolidate the main leisure experiences in Vilamoura” not only regarding the hotels and golf course we acquired from Dom Pedro, but also through the famous riding centre and the construction of new sports facilities, aimed both at professionals, individual sports fans and residents”.
