Prozis builds €20 million factory in US
Prozis, the Portuguese sports nutrition company founded by Miguel Milhão, will build a new factory in the United States, in an investment of €20 million euros.
The new factory, which is expected to be completed by the end of 2025, will produce snacks and breakfast cereals and aims to turnover between US$20 and US$40 million per year. It will employ around 30.
Founder and majority shareholder Miguel Milhão told online news source ECO, “I am investing in a factory in the State of South Carolina.”
With around 1,500 employees and 10 factories in Portugal, Prozis has built an empire in sports nutrition. According to information on its website, the company is the European leader in the online sale of sports nutrition.
