CTS Group opens European HQ in Lisbon

CTS Group, the largest data centre design and construction company in the Nordic countries, has just opened its European base in Lisbon.

CTS Europe’s new office in the capital already has a team of 50 employees, which is expected to double in the coming months with the hiring of 50 new professionals.

The new office in Lisbon will be responsible for the engineering and construction areas, with growth expected in the coming months. The CTS Group plans to create 500 jobs in Portugal in the near future, responding to international demand and the needs of the domestic market.

The Portuguese capital will be the company’s base for expansion throughout Europe, with offices in strategic countries such as Switzerland, Spain, France and Germany.

Filipe Schelfhout, CEO of CTS Group, says: “Portugal is a strategic country for CTS Europe, where we develop our operations and where we have a network of partnerships with high added value.

We are promoting reference projects in the country, such as the factory in Viana do Castelo for the production of EPODS, and we want to help develop the ecosystem in Portugal, assisting national companies in their internationalisation”.
