AmCham Portugal presents the American Companies in Portugal Barometer and discusses the role of international investment in the Portuguese economy
AmCham Portugal will host the conference “Portugal on the International Investment Radar” at the SANA Malhoa Hotel in Lisbon on July 9, from 9am to 11am.
This event will bring together representatives from the public sector, the U.S. Embassy in Portugal, international investors, and business leaders to analyse the impact of foreign direct investment (FDI) on the transformation of the Portuguese economy.
The event will feature the presentation of the latest edition of the ’Barometer of American Companies in Portugal’ by José Bizarro.
This benchmark study, developed by AmCham Portugal in partnership with PwC, analyses the contribution of U.S. companies and investment to the national economy using economic and financial indicators.
The new edition of the Barometer will be unveiled during the conference and made available to attendees and the media present.
Following the presentation of the study, a panel discussion will take place, focusing on key challenges and opportunities for enhancing Portugal’s competitiveness and appeal to international investors.
