Wonderful opens office on Iberian peninsula

The technology company Wonderful, a platform of Artificial Intelligence agents, announced today (Mon, June 8 that it has opened an office on the Iberian peninsula and appointed Gonzalo Torres as the general manager for Portugal and Spain.

This appointment and expansion into Iberia comes after the announcement in March of its US$150 million Series B funding round.

“To transform companies’ AI ambitions into reality, Wonderful combines a next-generation agent platform with top-tier local implementation teams, delivering enterprise-grade AI agents in over 30 markets and multiple languages,” reads the Wonderful press release.

This platform allows companies to build, monitor, and optimise agents that serve customers and streamline workflows in both the front and back offices. The local teams are composed of specialised engineers who work directly in customer environments to ensure fast and effective implementations.

In the eight months since emerging from stealth mode, Wonderful has expanded rapidly, opening operations in over 30 markets and implementing dozens of deployments in complex enterprise environments.

To lead operations in Iberia, Wonderful has appointed Gonzalo Torres as General Manager. Torres has led Shopify’s operations in Spain as Country Manager for the past four years and is deeply connected to the Spanish tech ecosystem as a founder, investor, and advisor.
