Iberia I fund acquires shopping centres in Caldas da Rainha and Guarda

The shopping centres fund Iberia I has notified the Portuguese competitions authority (AdC) that it has acquired the exclusive control of two shopping malls: the Centro Novo Caldas da Rainha and the Centro Novo Guarda.

The notification was received by the AdC on March 6 and consists of the purchase of the two malls from Point Capital Partners, a company that manages the venture capital fund Iberia I. The two shopping centers operate under the name La Vie Caldas da Rainha Shopping Centre and Centro Novo Guarda.

The acquirer, Shopping Ibéria I, is managed by Point Capital Partners, a fund dedicated to investing in companies and activities in the real estate sectors and which indirectly owns the Tavira Gran Plaza and Torreshopping shopping centres.
